Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day,
-
on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods;
-
in the case of a single order for several goods that are delivered separately, on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last goods;
-
in the case of goods delivered in several partial shipments or pieces, on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last piece.

by means of a clear declaration, for example, a letter sent by post or an email, of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
You can use the model withdrawal form provided below for this purpose. However, the use of the form is not mandatory.
You can also declare your withdrawal using the electronic withdrawal function provided on our website. If you use this function, we will immediately confirm receipt of your withdrawal on a durable medium, for example, by email.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including the costs of the cheapest standard delivery offered by us.
Additional costs incurred because you chose a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us will not be reimbursed.
The reimbursement will be made without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which your notification of withdrawal from this contract was received by us.
For the reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not be charged any fees for the reimbursement.
We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract, to the following address:

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functionality.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply, as far as legally provided, in particular to contracts for the supply of goods,

which are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive;
-
which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
This particularly applies to goods that have been individually manufactured, personalized or adapted according to your personal specifications.
The right of withdrawal is not excluded solely because a product was reduced or offered as part of a special promotion.

Notes on returns
Registering a return
If possible, please inform us of your withdrawal at contact@madubags.com before returning the goods and state your order number.
This facilitates the assignment and processing of your return.
However, prior contact or approval by MaDu Bags is not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of your statutory right of withdrawal.
Return costs
In the case of a regular withdrawal, you bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
We currently do not provide a free return label for a regular withdrawal.
Please send the goods with sufficient postage and, if possible, with a trackable shipping method to:

Using a shipping method with tracking is not mandatory but is recommended so that the return can be proven if necessary.
Please keep the proof of postage until the return has been fully processed.
Condition and packaging of returned goods
You may unpack and examine the goods to an extent necessary to determine their nature, characteristics and functionality.
Use, processing or alteration beyond such examination may lead to reasonable compensation for value.
The original packaging is not absolutely necessary for exercising the statutory right of withdrawal.
However, please pack the goods carefully and securely for transport so that they are not damaged during the return shipment.
Damaged, defective or incorrectly delivered goods
If you have received a damaged, defective or incorrectly delivered item, please contact us as soon as possible at:
Please state your order number and, if possible, send us photos of the item and the shipping packaging.
In the event of a justified complaint, we will cover the return costs necessary for subsequent performance. After consultation, we will provide you with a suitable return option or a return label.
Please do not return complained goods at our expense or freight collect on your own initiative before the return has been agreed with us.
Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected. Delayed or omitted contact does not lead to the loss of these rights.
Exchange
A direct exchange cannot currently be offered or guaranteed.
If you would like a different item, color or version, you can return the received item within the framework of the statutory right of withdrawal and reorder the desired item separately.
Refund
As soon as your return has been received by us, we will check and process it.
The refund will generally be made via the same payment method that you used for the original order, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
After we have initiated the refund, it may take some additional working days for the amount to appear in your account, depending on the payment service provider or credit institution.
In the event of a withdrawal from the entire contract, we will also refund the costs of the cheapest standard delivery offered by us.
If you only return part of your order, the original delivery costs will not be refunded, provided that these would have been incurred to the same extent if you had ordered the retained items.
