What is flat polyester cord?
Our 5 mm flat polyester cord is made of high-quality polyester. It is shape-retaining, tear-resistant, and easy to care for. The cord retains its shape and color even after frequent use, making it ideal for bags, baskets, and home accessories.
What is the difference between 3 mm and 5 mm?
The 5 mm cord is wider and creates a coarser, sturdier weave, perfect for bags and baskets. The 3 mm cord is finer and is suitable for smaller projects and more detailed patterns.
Is the cord suitable for beginners?
Yes! The flat polyester cord lies comfortably in the hand, is easy to work with, and forgives small mistakes. With a 5–6 mm crochet hook, even your first project will be a success.
Quantity & Usage
How much cord do I need for a bag?
For a medium-sized shopper bag (approx. 30×30 cm), 150–200 m of polyester cord is required, so 2 rolls of 100 m each. For small accessories such as keychains or coin purses, 1 roll is often enough.
Can I combine several colors in one project?
Absolutely! Color combinations make every piece unique. With over 30 colors in our range, there are no limits to your creativity. Our double pack is ideal for two-color projects.
Which crochet hook should I use?
We recommend an aluminum crochet hook in size 5–6 mm. Aluminum glides through the cord better than plastic and ensures even stitches.
Care & Cleaning
Can I wash my finished bag?
Yes! Polyester cord products can be washed at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Please do not tumble dry; let it air dry. The colors will remain intact.
How do I clean small stains?
Small stains can be easily removed with a damp cloth and a little mild detergent. The cord is water-repellent and dries quickly.
Is the cord UV-resistant?
Polyester is naturally more UV-resistant than cotton. However, prolonged, intense sunlight can cause slight color changes, as with all textiles.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Within Germany, we deliver via DHL in 2–4 business days. Delivery to other EU countries takes 3–8 business days. You will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking link by email.
From what amount is shipping free?
For orders of €79.00 or more, we ship free within Germany. For smaller orders, we charge a flat shipping fee of €6.99.
Do you also deliver to Switzerland and Austria?
Yes! Austria is part of our EU delivery zone (shipping costs €19.90). We also ship to Switzerland; the costs are €29.90. You can see all available delivery countries at checkout.
Order & Payment
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all common payment methods: credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, Klarna (invoice/installment purchase), SEPA direct debit, and more. You can see all options at checkout.
Can I cancel or change my order?

Do you have a return policy?
